After a successful career as producer/engineer and having started his own music production company, it eventually dawned to Benoît Dobbelstein that he needed above anything to express himself musically as a singer/songwriter.

So here we are.

Please welcome The Van Dyckx. Intelligent indie pop/rock with an ounce of wit. Exercises in poetry. Music that doesn't self-impose the generally known industry boundaries and standards. Songs that tell stories. Songs about love. About anger. Or the girl from next door. Everything that surrounds us and makes us think and tick. Well, The Van Dyckx at least.
